For over 15 years, Shadow has been a professional DJ behind the decks – an artist who doesn't just play music, but lives and breathes it. For him, every performance is more than just a set: it's a conversation with the audience, an exchange of energy, emotion and passion. When he takes control of the decks, it's not just about the beats. It's about giving people something special – a feeling, a smile, a moment that stays with them.

His musical roots run deep in Soul and Funk – sounds filled with groove, warmth and authenticity. These genres remain his greatest musical passion to this day, but Shadow refuses to be confined by labels. For him, diversity is everything, because great music knows no boundaries. Whether it's House, Disco, Melodic Techno, Progressive Techno, Psy-Trance or even Hardcore, every genre has its own magic and its own story. And that's exactly what makes his style so unique.

Shadow loves bringing together sounds that might seem worlds apart. Where others see boundaries, he builds bridges – between genres, eras and emotions. His mixes are vibrant, surprising and always full of energy. Sometimes driving and pulsating, sometimes emotional and deep – but always with soul and an instinctive feel for the moment.

His music tells stories – honest, direct and intense. Throughout it all, Shadow remains authentic, down-to-earth and open to new experiences. He isn't tied to any particular decade; instead, he draws inspiration from sounds across generations. To him, music is an endless flow, constantly evolving yet always bringing people together.

Experience Shadow live – where beats meet emotion and every track opens a new chapter. Only on StompFM.

Straight from Germany's Hunsrück region comes a radio presenter who doesn't just play electronic music – he lives and breathes it: Stefan KL. He discovered his love for synthesised sounds at an early age in the Rhine-Main region, a passion that continues to inspire and shape him to this day.

In the early to mid-1980s, his musical world was influenced by legendary artists such as Kraftwerk, New Order and Brian Eno. He was just as fascinated by the German New Wave movement (Neue Deutsche Welle) as he was by the rebellious spirit of punk. But it was Frankfurt DJs Torsten Fenslau and Sven Väth who made the most lasting impression on him. Their sets, their energy and their vision of music left a mark – one that Stefan still carries with him today.

He fondly remembers the days of mixtapes, when fans would pay good money to get recordings directly from their favourite DJs – a piece of music history that still holds a special place in his collection. But Stefan doesn't just look back. His musical horizons have constantly expanded over the years. Always keeping an ear on the latest releases, he brings together the best of past and present in his shows.

The result is a wild and exciting blend of retro sounds, fresh tracks and timeless classics. Above all, one thing matters to him: it's got to groove. He carefully builds musical journeys filled with tension and emotion, occasionally embracing a touch of nostalgia and even a little kitsch – always with style, always with feeling.

His shows are usually hosted live, full of personality, energy and a personal touch. As the night goes on, the mixing takes over – intuitive, creative and bursting with energy. Stefan especially enjoys connecting directly with his listeners through the chat, welcoming song requests, ideas and feedback.

For him, music is never a one-way street. It's an exchange – a connection between artist and audience, past and future.

Experience Stefan's musical world – live on StompFM.

It all began in 2009, when Schtiwi discovered a web radio station with a live video stream for the very first time. Before long, he also found its chat room, opening the door to a whole new world of music, entertainment and friendly connections. It was during this time that the name Schtiwi was born – a name that has stayed with him ever since.

The enthusiastic listener eventually became a radio presenter himself. In 2012, Schtiwi began his journey behind the web radio microphone and discovered just how much fun it was to share his passion for music with others.

When it comes to music, he loves variety. The unforgettable hits of the 80s, high-energy EDM beats, electronic dance music including House, Trance and electronic club sounds, as well as powerful rock music, are among his favourites. It's a mix where nostalgia, rhythm and electrifying guitar riffs come together.

With his many years of web radio experience and his wide-ranging musical taste, Schtiwi is now a welcome addition to the StompFM presenting team.

Schtiwi – from 80s classics to EDM, House, Trance and electronic club music, all the way to Rock. As long as the music is right!

When Chaos Duo takes control of the decks, something truly special happens – a musical experience that only two people who don't just listen to music, but live and breathe it together, can create. Their world is dark, electronic and emotional, yet full of surprises. Together, they explore a wide range of genres: from EBM, Synthpop and Futurepop to Darkwave, Gothic and Gothic Rock, alongside mainstream sounds and the unforgettable classics of the 80s and 90s.

Their sets thrive on the dynamic chemistry between two personalities who complement each other perfectly. Where one seeks melodic depth, the other brings driving energy. Sometimes dark and atmospheric, sometimes rhythmic and powerful – but always with their own distinctive signature sound. For them, music is a space they create together: a place filled with emotions, memories and pulsating intensity.

What truly defines Chaos Duo is their love of contrasts. They're never afraid to push boundaries, moving effortlessly between gentle synth soundscapes and relentless beats. And when things get heavier, they really turn up the intensity: raw, loud and uncompromising Industrial is just as much a part of their repertoire as melodic classics. For Chaos Duo, making some serious noise isn't a departure from their style – it's pure expression, a moment when music has no limits.

It's precisely this diversity, combined with their shared energy, that makes their shows so special. Every set tells a story – sometimes beginning in dark underground clubs, sometimes taking listeners back to nostalgic memories of past decades, and sometimes rooted firmly in the here and now. Throughout it all, they remain approachable, authentic and always connected to their audience.

Experience the combined power of two passionate music lovers – diverse, intense and always a little chaotic.

What started with a simple headset and broadcasting software has grown into something fuelled by genuine passion: a fully equipped radio studio in Germany's Hunsrück region, complete with a mixing console, microphones and professional DJ equipment. This is where BastiKlein's musical heart beats.

In the beginning, it was all about Rock, Pop, R&B and other mainstream genres. But eventually, he wanted something more. In 2019, he discovered his true musical love: Hands Up – music bursting with pure energy, making hearts race and turning every show into an unforgettable experience. Every now and then, he ventures into House, Hardstyle or Happy Hardcore – although he finds House too slow, Hardstyle too hard and Happy Hardcore too fast. 😉

Since 2025, his show Never Ending Love has been a regular part of the StompFM schedule – a programme filled with emotion, euphoria and a deep passion for electronic music.

But music has been part of BastiKlein's life for much longer. Around the turn of the millennium, he began taking drum lessons, played in a local music ensemble and later learned to play the keyboard and guitar. Music became his language, an essential part of his life.

And you can hear that passion whenever he's on air. When BastiKlein presents a show, every word comes straight from the heart. With humour, warmth and just the right amount of emotion, he guides listeners through his programmes – sometimes uplifting, sometimes thoughtful, but always full of passion.

Music is more than sound. Music is emotion. Music is BastiKlein.

Oli lives and breathes radio – and has done so since 1990. Even as a child, he knew exactly what he wanted to do: one day, he would be behind the microphone, telling stories, playing music and entertaining people. That dream became a reality, and he's been a passionate radio presenter ever since.

Throughout his career, Oli has not only hosted radio shows but also trained presenters and led comedy teams. He's seen listener numbers climb into the thousands and knows what it takes to captivate an audience. Today, he draws on that experience to make every show something special – broadcasting in both German and English, including for Soundart Radio in Dartington.

His shows are an exciting mix of his own music productions and timeless classics spanning the 1960s to the present day. Oli has a natural, spontaneous and lively presenting style, always adding a touch of humour, enthusiasm and entertaining anecdotes. His listeners aren't just an audience – they're part of the show, whether he's forgotten to update a song title or is enjoying a slice of cake from his own bakery live on air. After all, for Oli, radio should be a treat for the taste buds too!

What drives Oli is his connection with his listeners, his love of music and his desire to introduce people to new sounds. Every show is an invitation to join in, share a laugh, get into the groove and simply enjoy great music.

Hi, I'm René – but on StompFM, you know me as Mailo.

Music has been part of my life for many years, and I simply can't imagine life without it. That's exactly the passion I want to share with you here on StompFM.

Whenever time allows and I'm on air in the morning, I love taking you on a musical journey through the 80s, 90s and 2000s. From Roxette and Michael Jackson to UB40 – familiar hits, long-forgotten favourites and, of course, plenty of songs to sing along to.

But just playing music wouldn't be enough for me. I believe radio is all about the people listening. That's why I love getting you involved in my shows. Guessing mystery sounds, playing little games, taking song requests or simply having a good laugh together – that's what makes a great radio show for me.

In the evenings, things can get a little more modern. That's when I bring you Dance beats, fresh sounds and a relaxed atmosphere to help you leave the day behind.

And not everything has to be perfectly planned. Radio should be spontaneous, there should always be room for laughter, and sometimes a show takes a completely unexpected turn. That's the beauty of live radio – and exactly what makes it so exciting for me.

What matters most to me is that you feel welcome whenever you tune in. Not like some anonymous listener, but more like you're sitting with friends, enjoying great music and having a wonderful time together.

Whenever I'm on air, I put my whole heart into it. I'm genuinely happy about everyone who tunes in, drops by the chat or simply enjoys the music.

So whenever you see this on StompFM:

Mailo is ON AIR!

… just tune in and join the fun!

I'm looking forward to sharing many more wonderful, funny and unforgettable radio moments with you.

Catch you on air!

Your Mailo

Music Style: A bit of everything – with plenty of Rock and a healthy dose of darker sounds.

Show Motto: Chaostime with Alpi

One thing is guaranteed with Alpi: it never gets boring!

She's been behind the microphone since 2005, repeatedly attempting to host a perfectly normal, peaceful and completely chaos-free radio show.

That attempt is still ongoing.

Because on Chaostime with Alpi, things rarely go according to plan. Sometimes the technology has a mind of its own, sometimes the show spontaneously takes a completely unexpected turn, and sometimes chaos simply gets there before the plan does.

But that's exactly what makes the show so special.

Alpi, also known as Nicky, modestly describes herself as being from a very, very vintage year and is the proud grandmother of a three-year-old little witch.

Musically, she takes listeners on a wild journey through the world of Rock. From well-known classics to darker and heavier sounds, anything goes as long as it creates a great atmosphere and fits Alpi's style.

Don't expect everything to run perfectly smoothly – but do expect plenty of personality, great music and spontaneous moments.

Chaostime with Alpi – because perfect would be far too boring!
